“Hon’ble PM @narendramodi, there are two Gen Zs in India. One inherited opportunity; the other, in Kashmir, inherited curfews, crackdowns, internet shutdowns, lost classrooms, unemployment and trauma,” Mufti expressed. She highlighted the urgent need for addressing the systemic issues faced by the youth in the region.
In her appeal, Mufti emphasized that Kashmiri youth seek dignity and a political voice. They yearn for the freedom to dream without fear, feeling that such aspirations should not be stifled by external conditions. She clarified her stance further, “If compassion is to define India’s future, let it begin with Kashmir.”
